I am a Writer/Poet and published Author, married mother of 4 and Grandmother of 3.  I was born and raised in a small town in Massachusetts now living in a big city in New Hampshire where I have resided since 1986.
I am the Author of "In The Solemn Hours - A Collection of Poems , Sonnets and Prose From The Heart." Available as kindle ebook on Amazon and also in paperback.

A little background...
I have been writing since I was 11 years old when my 6th grade teacher saw promise in my writing abilities and encourage me with love. Through the years I began writing not only poetry but lyrics and have been in many local bands as lead vocals from duos, trios, full rock bands and have performed in three rock operas. 

My poetry books are all biographical. 
I write from real experiences and memories. Although everyone'sexperiences are different the heart still shares the same hopes and dreams, love and loss, joys and agony in dealing with matters of the heart and soul. The one thing I have always remained true to is that I would never make up feelings to write about just to sell a book. My role as a writer is to connect with my audience through writing from the soul. And the only way I can do that adequately is to write about my own love and my own pain. 

Writing can be a double edged sword. It can leave you stuck in the past or it can be a tool to help heal while you move gently into the future. 
As my most favorite and great Poet, Edgar Allan Poe said " If a poem hasn't ripped apart your soul you haven't experienced poetry."
